The introductory level of Vaganova Ballet.
This class focuses on building a solid foundation in Classical Ballet. Students will learn fundamental Vaganova ballet techniques, including arm and feet positions, jumps, and traveling steps. With guided stretching exercises, they will safely enhance flexibility in the hips, hamstrings, and back. The class also introduces students to ballet mime, combining facial expressions and movements to enhance storytelling skills.
Ballet helps to improve muscular coordination, posture, and flexibility, helping young children develop poise, confidence, and grace as they grow.

pre-vaganova 2 (7 yrs)
Duration: 1 hour 15 minutes
This class aims to help students skills that facilitate a smooth transition into the Vaganova Ballet Curriculum. They expand their ballet vocabulary, mastering fundamental steps such as Plié, Tendu, Sauté, weight transfer, and more. These foundational techniques help instill proper posture, enhance coordination and body control, improve weight placement, and develop spatial awareness.
They will also develop a keen eye to master dance movements and steps as they will be challenged to perform dance combinations, demonstrating their technique, musicality and dance quality at the same time.
Students will participate in a small assessment evaluated by a panel of distinguished teachers and dancers. This will culminate in a showcase for parents before advancing to the next level, Vaganova 1.
